Neil B. Stekloff(Associate)Michael Best & Friedrich LLP Lawyer Profile Neil Stekloff is an associate and a member of the Employment Relations Practice Group. Mr. Stekloff represents employers in all aspects of employment law, including litigation defense and counseling. On the litigation front, Mr. Stekloff defends employers in state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies with respect to claims of discrimination, harassment, “whistle-blower” retaliation (including Sarbanes-Oxley claims), wrongful discharge, defamation, breach of contract, and wage and hour matters. Mr. Stekloff also counsels employers on compliance matters and litigation prevention strategies. He has significant experience in Fair Labor Standards Act and state law wage and hour matters, including exempt/non-exempt classifications, salary basis compliance, and meal and rest period requirements, among other issues. Mr. Stekloff has also defended multiple wage and hour class actions. Prior to joining the firm in November 2004, Mr. Stekloff spent more than five years in the employment law department of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP.
