James J. McDonald Jr.(Partner)Fisher & Phillips LLP Lawyer Profile Jim McDonald is managing partner of the Irvine office. His practice involves litigation of all types of employment disputes, including jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations, with special emphasis on wrongful termination, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, Americans with Disabilities Act, mental health issues in the workplace, and trade secrets and unfair competition matters. He also advises employers on union strikes and picketing matters and obtains injunctions against unlawful picketing, and he counsels employers on labor and employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Jim is editor of the second edition of the treatise, Mental and Emotional Injuries in Employment Litigation published by BNA Books in 2001, and author of its 2006 Supplement.
