    AREAS OF PRACTICE

    Mr. Roth continues to practice exclusively in the area of labor and employment law defense, representing management in state and federal courts and before various governmental agencies including the DFEH, EEOC, OFCCP, DOL, OSHA and EDD. He defends employers in cases involving alleged discrimination, wrongful termination, employment-related torts and wage and hour claims. He counsels companies in the areas of sexual harassment prevention, identification of potential workplace violence issues, effective use of performance appraisals, and litigation avoidance. He represents companies throughout the nation.

    PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

    Mr. Roth was the 1995 Chair and 1994 Vice Chair of the San Diego County Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section; a 1995 Delegate (Alternate) of the State Bar Conference of Delegates, and a former member and secretary to the Board of Managers of the Jackie Robinson Family Branch YMCA, Southeast San Diego [Chairman's Roundtable member 1990-1991 and Heritage Club member 1990-present].
