Lawyer Profile Emphasis AREAS OF PRACTICE Mr. Sarchet is the Managing Shareholder of the Sacramento Office of Littler Mendelson, and also maintains an office in the firm's office in Stockton, California. Mr. Sarchet has earned a well deserved reputation as a hands on problem solver, providing consultation to private and public employers before any litigation is filed. On a daily basis, Mr. Sarchet provides advice to employers in dealing with their most difficult and problematic employees. This advice typically involves interpretation and application of a broad spectrum of labor and employment laws, including employment discrimination laws, the right of employee privacy, family and medical leave laws, wage and hour regulations, and so on. Mr. Sarchet is committed to crafting practical, real world solutions to problems, recognizing and balancing business realities and necessities with the need to minimize exposure to litigation. Once litigation is filed, Mr. Sarchet provides representation in state and federal court and before a multitude of administrative agencies charged with enforcing various employment laws. On numerous occasions, Mr. Sarchet has been called on to serve as the employer's chief spokesperson in collective bargaining negotiations. Mr. Sarchet also provides advice and representation in all other areas of traditional labor law, including union organizing campaigns and arbitrations.
