Ms. Brown counsels employers on a daily basis in many aspects of the employment relationship including how best to deal with difficult employees and other time sensitive personnel matters. The advice she provides involves the balancing of business realities with the need to ensure compliance with constantly evolving federal and state, employment and labor laws. In those instances where litigation cannot be avoided, Ms. Brown has proven trial experience in state and federal court as well as administrative proceedings. She is an "AV" rated lawyer - the highest available rating by Martindale-Hubble for legal ability and professional ethics. PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES Ms. Brown has lectured on myriad employment related topics and regularly counsels and trains employers regarding employment law issues. She is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the Florida Bar and is a member of the South Florida Chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation. Before joining Littler Mendelson she was a partner at Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell, P.A., where she co-chaired the firm's labor and employment practice. She then joined Jackson Lewis LLP, Of-Counsel, where she specialized in labor and employment law.
