An accomplished litigator, Mr. Alper successfully has represented employers in all types of employment disputes in judicial, administrative and arbitral forums throughout the country. However, with years of experience and concentration in employment discrimination, sex harassment, wrongful discharge, workforce reductions, union/management relations, family/medical leaves and other employment regulatory matters, his goal is litigation avoidance and legal compliance through responsive, proactive, prophylactic counseling and human resource policy administration. Mr. Alper represents health care, banking, manufacturing and other private sector clients, partnering with corporate management, counsel and human resources to develop strategic, cost-effective approaches to employee relations problems and risk management. Mr. Alper also represents private colleges and universities in faculty and student issues. Mr. Alper has been active in the management of his law firm, heading the Labor Practice Area, chairing the Associate Evaluation Committee and serving on the Management and Partner Compensation Committees.
