Allan M. Dabrow(Shareholder)Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC Lawyer Profile Allan M. Dabrow is a shareholder with the Philadelphia office of the law firm of Buchanan Ingersoll. He is a member of the firm's Labor and Employment Group. Mr. Dabrow has more than 25 years of experience representing companies in a full spectrum of labor relations and employment law matters. He has represented management directly, and also as insureds, with respect to traditional collective bargaining, union organization activity, picketing, hiring strategies for mergers and acquisitions, and other issues arising out of the National Labor Relations Act. He has also represented management against employee complaints in such matters as sexual harassment, age, race and other claims of discrimination arising out of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Age Discrimination and Employment Act, the Americans with Disability Act, CEPA and other wrongful discharge, breach of action, ERISA, retirement benefits and other labor relations and employment matters before state and federal courts and agencies. He also guides management in developing and administering their human resource programs, including employment agreements, employment policies and practices, hiring and termination, promotion, training, compensation and benefit programs. As an alternative to litigation, Mr. Dabrow has also represented clients before the American Arbitration Association, various mediation and ADR entities. Active in his community, Mr. Dabrow serves on the Anti-Defamation League where he Co-chairs the Civil Rights Division and is a member of the Philadelphia region's Executive Committee. He also serves on the National Commission of the Anti-Defamation League where he is a member of the National Civil Rights Division. Mr. Dabrow is a Vice President and member of the Executive Committee of the Golden Slipper Clubs and Charities, and he also serves as President of the Golden Slipper Uptown Home for the Aged. He is a member of the President's Advisory Commission under the Drug-Free Communities Act. Mr. Dabrow received his law degree, with honors, from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1972. He received his bachelor of science degree with a major in Business Administration from the College of Emporia in 1967. Mr. Dabrow is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Second, Third, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and D.C.
