Lawyer Profile
Stacy D. Mueller is an associate in Baker Hostetler’s Denver office. Ms. Mueller’s practice focuses on representing corporations in business and employment litigation. She represents clients in actions before administrative agencies and state and federal courts involving employment discrimination claims brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and various state anti-discrimination statutes.

She also counsels employers regarding various employment and human resources issues, including wage and hour compliance, personnel policies and employee handbooks. Ms. Mueller also has experience representing companies in actions involving covenants not-to-compete and the protection of companies’ confidential information.

In addition, Ms. Mueller has represented clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters such as contractual disputes and subrogation actions to recover losses paid due to fire. Ms. Mueller has also been extensively involved in the representation of major insurance companies in nationwide consumer class action lawsuits.

Ms. Mueller has successfully defended clients before both state and federal courts as well as state administrative agencies such as the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.

Ms. Mueller is a member of the American, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. For the past two years, she has served on Baker Hostetler’s Denver Community Activism Committee, organizing and participating in a number of community outreach and charitable projects. She also volunteers as a pro bono lawyer providing representation to political asylees and torture survivors seeking to gain political asylum in the United States.
