Anthony S. Brill(Partner)Baker & Hostetler LLP Lawyer Profile Anthony S. Brill is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Baker Hostetler. He devotes his practice to advising, counseling and defending employers and individual business professionals in all aspects of labor and employment law and litigation. His clients include entrepreneurs, medium-sized and major national and international companies and corporations in a broad range of industries. Mr. Brill has successfully represented employers in wrongful termination litigation, discrimination claims, wage and hour matters, class action litigation, union organizing campaigns, grievances and arbitrations. He provides day-to-day counseling on employee-related issues including employer-employee rights and obligations under the California Labor Code, FEHA, NLRA, LMRA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, Title VII and other state and federal labor and employment-related laws. Mr. Brill regularly litigates in state and federal trial and appellate courts, before state and federal administrative agencies including the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and the National Labor Relations Board, and handles arbitration and mediation proceedings. Mr. Brill has lectured on a variety of topics including electronic discovery, sexual harassment and California's unfair competition law. While completing his law degree, Mr. Brill served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable A. Andrew Hauk of the United States District Court, Central District of California. Mr. Brill has served as Judge Pro Tem for the Small Claims Court of Appeal. Other honors and distinctions Mr. Brill has received include: Hale Moot Court Honors Program participant and Law Clerk for the United States Attorney's Office, Criminal Division.
