Joyce Ackerbaum Cox(Partner)Baker & Hostetler LLP Lawyer Profile Joyce Ackerbaum Cox, a partner in Baker Hostetler's Orlando office, focuses her practice on advising and representing employers in a wide variety of employment issues. She litigates matters involving discrimination and harassment claims, as well as disputes arising out of employment and non-compete agreements. Additionally, she handles cases, provides consultation and conducts audits on accessibility compliance under the Americans with Disabilities Act for both public and private employers. Finally, she frequently advises and trains employers on issues including employment policies and procedures, proper hiring, disciplining and termination methods, sexual harassment, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and Wage and Hour issues. Ms. Ackerbaum Cox has trial and arbitration experience and has argued successfully before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
