Richard M. Tuyn(Shareholder)Bloomfield Hills (Metro Detroit) Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Mr. Tuyn is a shareholder who joined in opening the firm's Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office on September 1, 2007. Since 1979, Mr. Tuyn has focused his practice as lead trial counsel in the defense of management in employment litigation in state and federal courts. Mr. Tuyn's previous experience was acquired at the employment defense firm of Hardy, Lewis & Page, where he was a partner from 1983-1999. In that capacity, he served as lead defense trial counsel on numerous individual and multiple plaintiff employment cases on behalf of General Motors Corporation and other corporate clients. As one of the founding principals of Cattel, Tuyn & Rudzewicz in 1999, Mr. Tuyn continued his employment defense trial practice. His most recent trial experience has been on behalf of Chrysler Corporation and The Detroit Edison Company. Mr. Tuyn has also served as a private mediator for employment disputes and is an accomplished speaker before business and professional organizations. His civic involvement includes several years" volunteer service as a youth baseball coach, with participation at the local and national levels.
