Stanley R. Strauss(Of Counsel)Washington Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Mr. Strauss has extensive legal and professional experience in labor relations and employment matters. He served as supervising attorney at the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C. from 1953-59, and then as Chief Counsel, 1959-63. Mr. Strauss has had unique experience in handling employment matters involving several major universities, including complicated tenure questions, sex harassment cases, and arbitrations. Mr. Strauss is co-author of Practice and Procedure Before the National Labor Relations Board, 3d, 4th and 5th editions, and has been listed in several editions of Who's Who in America as one of America's foremost lawyers. He is also listed in The Best Lawyers In America. During World War II, Mr. Strauss served as an officer in the Army and was awarded the Bronze Star.
