Kristin Ulrich Somich(Associate)Cleveland Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Ms. Somich has represented clients in the areas of Employment Law, Employment Litigation, and Employee Benefits Law. Her practice consists primarily of defending both individual employee lawsuits and administrative hearings involving age, gender, race and disability discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes. She has also advised and defended employment agreements, covenants not to compete, and confidentiality agreements. She also has experience in the employee benefits area, including work on 401(k) and pension plans, ERISA litigation, including ERISA class action work, and local and national reductions in force. Ms. Somich graduated from Notre Dame College, summa cum laude, in 2002 with a degree in Accounting. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan in 2005. While at the University of Michigan, she served as an Executive Editor on the Michigan Journal of Race and Law and did clinical work for the Pediatric Advocacy Initiative. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Ms. Somich was employed at a national full practice firm concentrating on labor and employment law.
