Thomas A. Smock(Shareholder)Pittsburgh Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Mr. Smock began practicing law in 1974. He has practiced employment and labor law since 1975. His areas of emphasis are labor litigation and arbitration, negotiation and union representation campaigns. Mr. Smock has long established expertise in representing employers in the metals industry, particularly steel and aluminum. In addition, he has expertise in dealing with unions in health care. Mr. Smock is a graduate of Bethany College, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1968. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1974. Mr. Smock is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation, the Board of Trustees of Bethany College, and serves as a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association. Mr. Smock is a frequent lecturer on issues impacting business and the organized labor movement.
