Steven V. Shoup(Of Counsel)Indianapolis Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Steven V. Shoup limits his practice to representation of management in labor and employment law matters. His areas of expertise include collective bargaining issues, arbitration strike management, injunctions, safety and health in the workplace, liability avoidance and civil rights litigation. While in law school, Mr. Shoup was Executive Director of Associated Employers of Indiana, Inc., a not-for-profit industrial relations and lobbying group dedicated to serving employer interests. After law school, he served for several years as in-house counsel for a multi-union private employer, and prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, was a partner with Lowe Gray Steele & Darko, LLP in Indianapolis. Mr. Shoup is a member of the Labor Law sections of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations. He also is an active member of the American Bar Association's Committee on the Development of Labor Law Under the National Labor Relations Act and was a contributing editor to The Developing Labor Law, Third Edition. In addition, Mr. Shoup has authored and presented numerous seminars and training programs for other lawyers, business leaders and human resource personnel on issues related to labor and employment law.
