Lawyer Profile
Mr. Shetterly is a shareholder in the Greenville, South Carolina office of Ogletree Deakins, one of the nation's largest labor and employment law firms. He routinely advises clients on best employment practices, FMLA, ADA, Title VII compliance, wage issues, policies and procedures. Mr. Shetterly is one of the office's primary litigators, representing the firm's clients before state and federal courts.

Because Mr. Shetterly has a diverse legal background in business, property rights, construction and insurance litigation, he represents many of the firm's construction clients. Having knowledge of the several disciplines better enables him to advise his clients and advocate their positions in court.

Mr. Shetterly received a degree in Political Economy and Philosophy from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he served as the school's attorney general. He received his juris doctorate degree cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He was a member of Law Review and the National ABA Moot Court Team.

Mr. Shetterly lectures for Lorman Education Services, Sterling Education Services, and Greenville Technical College.
