Mr. Sanservino represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law.  As part of his broad practice, Mr. Sanservino has successfully represented employers in administrative proceedings, arbitration, state court, federal district court and federal appellate court on a variety of issues, including issues relating to the National Labor Relations Act, the Labor Management Relations Act, federal and state anti-discrimination laws, non-competition and trade secrets, and ERISA.

Mr. Sanservino's representative cases include:



Local 827, IBEW v. Verizon New Jersey, Inc., 458 F.3d 305 (3d Cir. 2006):  obtained unanimous appellate ruling in employer's favor that reversed trial court's ruling and held that union's grievance was not substantively arbitrable under parties" collective bargaining agreement.


Local 827, IBEW v. Verizon New Jersey, Inc., 192 Fed. Appx. 132 (3d Cir. 2006):  represented employer in benefits dispute arising under parties" collective bargaining agreement.


Hay Group, Inc. v. E.B.S. Acquisition Corp., 360 F.3d 404 (3d Cir. 2004):  served as lead counsel and presented oral argument in case addressing the scope of discovery in arbitration proceedings. 


Local 827, IBEW v. Verizon New Jersey, Inc., No. 03-3612 (D.N.J. 2005):  presented oral argument and obtained ruling in employer's favor holding that union's grievance was not substantively arbitrable under parties" collective bargaining agreement.


Brooker v. Textron, Inc., et al., No. 02-2651 (E.D. Pa. 2004):  presented oral argument and obtained summary judgment for employers on numerous employment discrimination claims.Mr. Sanservino also has lectured and published articles on a number of labor and employment law issues.
