Lawyer Profile
Ms. Roane provides counseling and litigation services to management clients in employment matters.  She represents employers in employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge and wage and hour cases.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Roane served as a law clerk for the Honorable P. Trevor Sharp in the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. 

Ms. Roane handles the following types of matters:

  • Litigates all aspects of employment law cases in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
    Drafts employment contracts, covenants not to compete, severance agreements, and settlement agreements.


  • Prepares and reviews policy and procedure manuals and employee handbooks.
    Counsels clients on employment matters, including Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, sexual harassment, and wrongful discharge.


  • Presents seminars for clients and employer organizations on employment-related topics.,
