John H. Riordan, Jr.(Of Counsel)Pittsburgh Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Mr. Riordan was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 24, 1949. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree (with High Honors) in 1971 from the University of Notre Dame. Thereafter, he graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and was admitted to the Bar on October 21, 1974. He began his practice in 1974. Mr. Riordan practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, products liability and insurance defense. Mr. Riordan's memberships in professional organizations include: the Civil Litigation and Workers" Compensation Sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association; the Allegheny County Bar Association ("ACBA") Civil Litigation Section; the ACBA Antitrust and Class Action Committee (of which he was Chairperson from 1990 through 1993); and, the ACBA Professional Ethics Committee (of which he was Chairperson in 1992 and 1993).
