R. Allison Phinney, Esquire, is a shareholder in the Greenville, South Carolina office of Ogletree Deakins. He received his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1979 and an LL.M. degree in Labor Law from the George Washington University National Law Center in 1985. Before entering private practice, Mr. Phinney served as a law clerk to United States District Judge Clyde H. Hamilton. He practices exclusively in the area of labor and employment law, representing management in union avoidance, union campaigns, and employment litigation. Mr. Phinney has been certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a specialist in Labor and Employment Law.
