Lawyer Profile
Ms. Nason has counseled and assisted employers with employment issues since 1988.  She has handled litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts on a wide variety of employment issues, ranging from constitutional and statutory discrimination claims to workplace torts and contractual disputes.  Ms. Nason has also represented employers in numerous OFCCP compliance reviews and administrative enforcement actions.  She is a frequent lecturer in the areas of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, affirmative action, and techniques for minimizing employment claims.  Ms. Nason has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America from 2003 to present, is included in the 2007 edition of Chambers USA, and is co-editor of the South Carolina Bar's Labor and Employment Law for South Carolina Lawyers (1st-3d eds.)

Ms. Nason's defense of employers includes preparing affirmative action programs for numerous manufacturing, professional, and financial institutions in the Southeast and nationally; representing clients confronting back pay liability and other monetary sanctions based upon individual or pattern and practice claims raised by the EEOC, the OFCCP, or the Wage and Hour Division of the United States Department of Labor; and litigating before courts and administrative agencies employment discrimination claims brought under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, and the Equal Pay Act.,
