Peter B. Murphy(Associate)Greenville Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Mr. Murphy attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics in 1999. He then received his J.D. from University of Georgia School of Law (cum laude) in 2002. Mr. Murphy concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of employment and labor law. Mr. Murphy has experience representing management in all types of employment matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies including representing and counseling clients concerning discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of employment contracts, noncompetition covenant disputes, and wage and hour claims. He also has experience working on traditional labor law matters including union election campaigns and contract negotiations. Mr. Murphy is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, and the State Bar of Georgia.
