Lawyer Profile
Ms. Morris has devoted her career to defending employers and management in personnel related disputes before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. She has successfully tried employment disputes of all types, including race and disability discrimination cases, and has vast experience counseling clients.  Recent successes include:

  • Obtaining and maintaining judgment on appeal to Tenth Circuit in Title III ADA case with national ramifications on behalf of major non-profit organization.

  • Obtaining summary judgment in numerous employment cases on behalf of Fortune 500 companies.

    Ms. Morris clerked for the Honorable Nanette K. Laughrey, United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. She has also taught employment law courses as an adjunct professor for the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Ms. Morris frequently speaks on disability, harassment and discrimination law issues to human resource managers, supervisors and attorneys and provides training on these topics to companies.  Ms. Morris has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine as being in the top 5% of attorneys in Missouri and Kansas and has been named to the list of top 50 women lawyers in Missouri and Kansas.
