Lawyer Profile
Mr. Mason represents clients in employment and labor litigation in federal and state courts, and before administrative agencies, and counsels management clients on applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.  In his role as litigator and counselor, Mr. Mason handles all facets of labor and employment law, including traditional labor matters, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistleblower litigation, personnel policies and manuals, reductions in force, trade secret agreements, and drug and alcohol testing.  His representations include cases in front of trial and appellate courts, the National Labor Relations Board (?NLRB?), the Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Arizona Civil Rights Division, and the Department of Economic Security.

In one of his recent representative cases, Mr. Mason successfully defended a large national securities firm in a full seven day hearing before the NLRB.  The case involved an issue of first impression before the NLRB, namely, whether employers may request employees to keep sexual harassment investigations confidential during the course of the investigation.
