Magee(Shareholder)Los Angeles Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile As a Shareholder in Ogletree Deakins' Los Angeles office, Mr. Magee's practice focuses on all aspects of labor and employment law, including general employment practices counseling, representation of employers before state and federal courts, in matters including discrimination, wrongful discharge and wage and hour claims, including jury trial experience in wrongful discharge and age discrimination matters. In the area of litigation, Mr. Magee has defended companies in litigation under Title VII and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act in cases involving discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation based on age, gender, race, national origin, disability and leave status. In addition to state and federal court representation, Mr. Magee has represented clients in arbitration, mediation, and in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC") and the Department of Fair Employment and Housing ("DFEH"). Most recently, Mr. Magee successfully handled and resolved a multi-plaintiff pattern and practice Title VII national origin and religious discrimination lawsuit filed by the EEOC. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Mr. Magee was an associate in the Labor & Employment department of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, LLP.
