Mr. Lewis has been recognized as one of the leading lawyers in the field of employment law in the following publications: Best Lawyers in America (for over 25 years), Best of the U.S., Law Dragon Leading Lawyers in America, MidSouth Super Lawyers, Business Tennessee Magazine (Best 101 Lawyers in Tennessee), and Chambers, USA.  Mr. Lewis is a member of the College of Labor and Employment Law, a fellow of the Tennessee Bar Association, and was a member of the Advisory Committee for the Western District of Tennessee established pursuant to the Civil Justice Reform Act.  He is a frequent speaker and author on employment law topics, and has taught both collective bargaining and labor legislation as an adjunct faculty member at the Fogleman College of Business, University of Memphis.

While Mr. Lewis has widely diversified experience in all aspects of employment law, he currently concentrates his practice in the area of employment litigation.  He is admitted to practice in numerous federal district courts and courts of appeals, as well as the United States Supreme Court.  Mr. Lewis has served as lead counsel in a number of class action cases and successfully litigated cases across the country.  Additionally, he regularly counsels employers on all aspects of employment law.
