Myung Kim(Associate)Morristown Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Ms. Kim's practice focuses on representing employers in employment and labor matters in the United States and internationally. She has broad professional experience in the area of employment and labor law, having defended management in state and federal courts and administrative agencies against allegations of age, race, national origin, sex, and religious discrimination and harassment; wrongful termination; retaliation; breach of contract; wage and hour law violation and various other claims. She also negotiates and drafts employee-related agreements such as separation and release agreements, as well as confidentiality agreements. Ms. Kim regularly counsels the Firm's clients on various employment issues. She conducts training programs on prevention of workplace harassment and discrimination, hiring protocols, performance management as well as compliance with the FMLA, ADA, FLSA and other relevant employment laws. Ms. Kim also has experience with implementing reductions in force, as well as due diligence and other employment issues relating to mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring. Prior to beginning her legal career in the United States, Ms. Kim worked in Human Resources for a global company in Korea. From this experience, Ms. Kim is very familiar with the employment and labor practices in Korea and eastern Asia. Ms. Kim is fluent in Korean and has working knowledge of Mandarin.
