Susan M. Kalp(Of Counsel)Morristown Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Ms. Kalp defends employers in a wide variety of employment-related litigation, including sexual harassment, disability, race, age, and sex discrimination, restrictive covenants, whistleblower claims, and employment contract issues. She also advises clients regarding employee discipline, termination and severance. Ms. Kalp served as a law clerk to the Honorable Katherine R. Dupuis, J.S.C. in Somerset / Union Counties from 1994 to 1995, after which she spent several years in public service. She first served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Special Victims Unit in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where she specialized in undercover child pornography and exploitation investigations and prosecutions, and supervised the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Thereafter, she went to work at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in Alexandria, Virginia. There, Ms. Kalp authored and revised legislation on numerous child protection issues, and advised federal and state law enforcement and prosecutors nationwide on issues such as electronic surveillance, search & seizure protocol, privacy statutes and police ethics. She also assisted in drafting the FCC regulations for the ?AMBER? Alert Program. From 2001 to 2007, Ms. Kalp practiced civil litigation with a Philadelphia law firm, primarily defending civil rights, products liability, and construction claims. Ms. Kalp is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is also is a member of the Morris County and Philadelphia County Bar Associations.
