Rayna H. Jones(Associate)Atlanta Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Rayna Jones represents employers in all aspects of employment law, including employment litigation and counseling. Ms. Jones advises and defends clients in federal and state employment-related lawsuits, including actions alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach of contract. In addition, Ms. Jones provides advice to employers concerning litigation avoidance, employee handbooks and personnel policies, wage and hour laws, leaves of absence, employee discipline, hiring and termination issues, noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements, trade secrets, reductions in force, and other personnel matters. Ms. Jones also has extensive experience reviewing and creating employee handbooks and policies of all types; drafting and negotiating employment agreements, severance agreements, and covenants not to compete; and providing training for employers on employment-related issues. In addition to practicing at firms in Texas and Georgia, Ms. Jones served as in-house Corporate Counsel for The Home Depot from 2004 through 2006 where she managed employment litigation and regularly advised internal clients on handling employment disputes, responding to administrative charges and managing day-to-day employee issues.
