Lawyer Profile
Mr. Harrison is certified as a labor and employment law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  His practice is devoted exclusively to the representation of employers in matters of personnel policies and practices, employment law, wage-hour compliance and traditional labor relations.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Baylor University, Mr. Harrison attended the University of Virginia School of Law and focused his studies on labor and employment topics.  After graduation, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Sidney A. Fitzwater of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Dallas.  Thereafter, Mr. Harrison joined McFall Law Firm, a Texas labor law boutique that merged with Ogletree Deakins in January 2000.

Mr. Harrison has extensive experience in the litigation of claims in state and federal courts and administrative agencies throughout the United States.  See, e.g., Forbus v. Andrews Distrib. Co. of North Texas, 2005 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 26116 (N.D. Tex. 2005); Taylor v. Nickels & Dimes, Inc., 2002 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 14549, aff?d., 2003 U.S. App. LEXIS 13103 (5th Cir. 2003); Piper v. Kimberly-Clark Corp., 970 F. Supp. 566 (E.D. Tex. 1997).  A particular specialty is the design and enforcement of alternative dispute resolution programs and mandatory arbitration agreements.  See Garrett v. Circuit City Stores, Inc., 449 F.3d 675 (5th Cir. 2006); Gannon v. Circuit City Stores, Inc., 262 F.3d 677 (8th Cir. 2001); Circuit City Stores, Inc. v. Curry, 946 S.W.2d 486 (Tex. App. ? Forth Worth 1997, no writ).  Representative clients include: Circuit City Stores, Inc.; Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc.; Insight Enterprises, Inc.; Andrews Distributing of North Texas; Rosewood Hotels and Resorts; ACE Cash Express, Inc.; Gold's Gym International; Outreach Health Services; General Electric Corporation; Dicker Staffing Services; and CarMax Auto Superstores, Inc.

Mr. Harrison has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly magazine in 2003, 2004, and 2006.
