Michael D. Glass(Shareholder)Pittsburgh Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Michael D. Glass has concentrated his practice in labor and employment law and litigation since 1985. Mr. Glass has practiced with particular emphasis on union avoidance campaigns and contract negotiations, National Labor Relations Board proceedings, and both state and federal court litigation related to labor matters, including ERISA litigation concerning pension and welfare benefit plans, pension plan withdrawal liability and the WARN Act. A 1978 graduate of Dartmouth College, Mr. Glass earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Earth Sciences. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University in 1981, the same year he was admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania and in West Virginia. Mr. Glass is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation. Mr. Glass presently is an active member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and is active at the federal level with legislative issues that have an impact on labor matters.
