Wade M. Fricke(Shareholder)Cleveland Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Mr. Fricke began practicing law in 1989 in Cleveland, Ohio with the firm of Baker & Hostetler. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins he was a partner in Cleveland's oldest law firm, Spieth, Bell, McCurdy & Newell. He has practiced his entire career in the field of management labor and employment law. Mr. Fricke represents companies of all sizes across the country in virtually all aspects of employee relations in union and non-union settings. In both settings, Mr. Fricke's practice has focused on issue avoidance and positive employment practices. In union settings, Mr. Fricke has extensive experience in contract negotiations, and, where necessary, grievance resolution and arbitration, and strike management and resolution. His experience in non-union settings includes extensive employment relations auditing, supervisor training, union representational election work, drafting and reviewing employee handbooks and work rules, sexual harassment and other training, and most aspects of preventative-maintenance employment counseling regarding state and federal regulation of the workplace. Mr. Fricke's employment counseling experience includes practice before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Fricke has been elected a Super Lawyer in Ohio, an honor given to approximately 5% of all Ohio lawyers. He also is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
