Mark Diana(Shareholder)Morristown Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Mark Diana has a diverse practice representing both public and private sector employers in the many different issues facing employers in today's litigious climate. In his litigation practice, he defends employers and managers in discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, breach of contract, and restrictive covenant litigations. He represents employers in individual plaintiff, multiple plaintiff, and class action litigations. In his labor practice, Mr. Diana represents public bodies in contract negotiations, grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, representation proceedings, and unfair practice proceedings. With regard to day-to-day employee relations, he drafts and reviews employment policies, counsels employers regarding the requirements of state and federal employment laws (including the ADA, the FMLA, and Wage and Hour Laws), and assists employers in connection with hiring, discipline, and termination decisions. Mr. Diana has been representing management in labor and employment law matters since 1989, after completion of his clerkship with the Honorable William M. D?Annunzio, J.A.D., New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Mr. Diana has been a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Model Civil Jury Charges since 1998 and is actively involved in the review and revision of employment law jury charges. He is a member of the Executive Board of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and a former member of the Sidney Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court. He is also a frequent speaker on employment law matters for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and other organizations, and he frequently contributes articles to various employment law publications. Mr. Diana is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been selected as a New Jersey Super Lawyer.
