Marrian S. Chang(Associate)Los Angeles Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Marrian S. Chang, an associate, represents and counsels employers in a variety of labor and employment matters, including the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and federal and California wage and hour issues. In the area of litigation, Marrian defends employers against claims of discrimination and harassment based on race, age, gender, national origin, disability and other protected classes, as well as claims of wrongful termination and retaliation. Marrian also represents employers in claims of wage and hour violations, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, and breach of contract. Marrian also advises and counsels employers regarding employee handbooks, personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, disability accommodations, leave issues, and other employment practices. Marrian received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Comparative Literary Studies in 1995 from Occidental College. She earned her law degree in 2000 from the University of Southern California Law School. Marrian is admitted to practice in California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California. Marrian also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Kathleen March. Marrian is a member of the litigation and labor and employment sections of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and currently serves as an officer and board member of the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California.
