James L. Cerwinski(Associate)Atlanta Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile As an associate at Ogletree Deakins, Mr. Cerwinski focuses on all aspects of labor and employment law. Mr. Cerwinski is a graduate of Colby College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies in 1995. In 2007, Mr. Cerwinski graduated cum laude from the State University of New York ('sUNY?) at Buffalo School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor for the University at Buffalo Law Review. Mr. Cerwinski is also a recipient of the University at Buffalo's Public Interest Law Fellowship and the 2007 American Bar Association/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law. During his tenure as a law student, Mr. Cerwinski worked for the Employment Relations Department of SUNY Buffalo where he handled a variety of organized labor and employee relations issues. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Cerwinski was the Director of Human Resources at the Social Science Research Council, a non-profit international research organization headquartered in New York City. He has also lived abroad, teaching Business English in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
